Our twin boys were born at 30 weeks and had to spend 5 weeks in the NICU at RUH. The nurses and doctors were always willing to make us feel comfortable and teach us what to do so we could take care of our boys as much as possible. One of my favorite memories was actually on Mothers Day. My husband and I went in together and the nurses had taken photos of our boys and put them on a card that said “Happy Mothers Day Mama!” It was very sweet, considering we couldn’t take our boys home, I had those wonderful cards I could take and keep. That was also the day that our little girl was able to see her baby brothers together for the first time. The nurses helped us take the boys to the viewing window and everyone around us enjoyed the beautiful moment that big sister looked at her little brothers for the first time!
