At 20 weeks my ultrasound showed I had a lobe on my placenta, at 26 weeks I was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia, at 33weeks 5 days I found out I developed HELLP syndrome. I was induced and 2 long days later our 3rd daughter was born at exactly 34 weeks. Weighing in at 1896grams (4lbs 3oz) and 18 inches. She spent 15 days in NICU as a feeder and grower. The first year there were a few complications but she is now 3 years old, still tiny, a little delayed compared to other kids the same age, but she is super feisty and will catch up in no time! We are so lucky!
Our success is warranted to the tremendous support BloomNICU receives from local community through corporate sponsorship and from the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan. A variety of sponsorship packages are available.
